Our royalties are as high as any mainstream publisher, but since we are not a large press, we do not pay advances against royalties.

Rejection is not necessarily reflective of the quality of your work. More often it reflects the economics of publishing. Books over 150,000 words in length or requiring interior color are expensive to produce. Books with a narrow niche audience or in a field where many titles compete for attention of readers, rarely receive enthusiastic receptions. However, we appreciate strong writing and shall continue to publish the work of under-recognized poets with the caveat that said writers not relinquish their day jobs.
